*flutter, flutter* I had a date with Aria, earlier in the evening today… I was quite anxious since we rarely had the chance to see each other after finishing secondary school, though the sweltering noon heat slightly dampened the mood a bit. But hey, Aria’s at the end of the road –a goal. It was tiring (standing in a cramped pack full of people with the highest possibility of getting groped). When I reach Mines, the sudden burst of cool air of the building AC system was like…like…wow…cherubim floating, flower sparkles here and there.


The current exhaustion of taking a public transportation was slowly nursed by the exciting revelation of finally getting to see Aria again (it’s a bi-annual event, my birthday, her birthday). We wandered off around the complex, window browsing; stopping occasionally at the pet shop (I saw cute, super cute white hedgehog, miniscule gerbils, scorpions and the common rabbits…), comic book store (I could not resist), ice cream booth and stuff. We’ve talked a lot, small talks, jokes and making fun (discreetly) of the overly affectionate couples’ groping without any sense of reservation what so ever (really, it’s public here, there’s kids running around here!). But that aside, I had fun today, really. A nice break from my normal routine; work, school, do housework… And I had a good look of this one fine-looking man (I can practically feel Aria’s remark coming up, “You’re not over tzh yet, are you?”). He used to work at SenQ but now it seems that he’s in the security department. Don’t mind that… And…And, hey, hey! I got Kirara, the newest compilation of Atsuko Nakajima-sensei’s artworks as my b’day present (I can’t thank you enough, Aria) along with a new story book and a small heap of Hershey’s treats, yum.
